At pAwareness Foundation, we are a dedicated team of animal enthusiasts who have come together to make a positive difference in the lives of animals in our community. Our mission is to help and protect animals in need regardless of species, and to spread awareness through education, community outreach and adoptions; in an effort to promote compassion and empathy towards all living beings! We take in abandoned and surrendered animals, provide them food and medical care, offer training and behavioral support as needed, place them in loving foster homes for decompression and evaluation, and eventually find them happy forever homes suitable to their specific needs. Through our comprehensive animal rescue services we strive to raise awareness about the importance of pet adoption and responsible pet ownership. We provide education and training support to potential and final adopters, to make the adoption process as pleasant and successful as possible. We have helped dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, guinea piggies, piggie piggies, birds and reptiles. We are not opposed to horses, emus or even dolphins, if eventually we have the facilities and can accommodate their needs. We believe that no one is left behind in a pay it forward world!

To serve the community through animal sheltering, pet placement programs, humane education, and animal law enforcement. Provide responsive, efficient, and high-quality animal control services that preserves public safety. Promote responsible pet ownership, educate the public on city ordinances relating to animals, and safe interactions.

I am Lori Moses the president. I run the daily operations of the rescue. I started in 2018 fostering fire another rescue, once my kids were grown I knew I wanted to start my own rescue. I have always loved animals, the German Shepherd has always been my breed. My experience with them is the foundation on which the rescue rests.

Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats. We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments. Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals. We have a monthly pet pantry, provide temporary fostering for emergency situations, have a Senior pets for Seniors program, and more.

Paws of Love, Inc. is a new, community-driven initiative that is working not only to restore faith in animal welfare in Lawrence County, but to provide a beacon of hope for abandoned and neglected animals. This group of volunteers is passionate about filling the void left in our community when we found ourselves without a local animal rescue group. At Paws of Love, Inc., our mission is to promote the humane treatment of animals through shelter, adoption, transport, education, and advocacy. Would you like to help us? Please adopt! The building that we are using to shelter the animals left to us is in need of extensive repairs and renovations that can best be done in an empty building. As such, our biggest need is to find good, forever homes for the dogs in our care. If you have room in your heart and your home, adoptions are our most fervent wish right now. Sadly, until necessary building repairs can be made, we cannot accept any additional animals. We are only staffed by volunteers right now, with irregular hours, but if you would like to meet our precious dogs, please let us know, and we will make arrangements to meet you. Please give! I'm Brittany the president of CRR. I have worked in vets offices and with rescues and I always wanted to help special needs and unwanted animals.

Eugene Neal Animal Rescue is operated by volunteers and funded solely by donations and fund raisers. Our goal is to help all dogs and cats in Union Parish find safe and happy homes.

Who We Are Crops and Flops Rescue, Inc. is 501(c)(3) nonprofit boutique-style dog rescue focusing on quality matchmaking between pit bulls in need in need and loving forever homes. Our rescue is small and our focus is on making quality lifelong connections. We invest time in both our deserving dogs and potential adopters to make sure all feel supported every step of the way. Crops and Flops Rescue, Inc. operates as an all-volunteer, foster-home based rescue, which means we can focus every single penny towards supporting dogs in need.
