Collar of Hope

PO Box 518

Collar of Hope is an all volunteer, animal rescue group, primarily dogs. We are a FOSTER HOME BASED RESCUE AND HAVE NO FACILITY TO VISIT. The only way to meet a animal without submitting our adoption application is when we attend adoption events with some of our available pets.. We are committed to helping homeless animals find their way into permanent loving homes as a valued member of the family. We do not discriminate in size, age or breeds; we just want to help nice adoptable cat & dogs as we can and believe they have the right for the chance at their own happy "tail"! We are not trainers, behaviorist or veterinarians. We provide all basic health care, grooming needs and a safe place for the animal until a good viable match for the animal comes along. All rescues will take some work, some more and some less depending on the age and background. 99% of our dogs come from shelters as strays so we have no history on them. We learn as much as we can about them while they're in our care in their foster home.

No Time to Spare Animal Rescue and Sanctuary

We are a 501c3, NOT FOR PROFIT foster based rescue that is based in St. Charles County and services surrounding counties as well. Our organization provides rescue to dogs, cats, horses, goats, geese and ducks as well as all pocket pets. We rescue animals that are being abused and/or neglected in their homes while working with the high kill shelters in our area to pull the animals that sometimes only have minutes left before being euthanized, hence our name of NO TIME TO SPARE! Rescued animals will receive the proper medical care, including spaying or neutering and will be placed for adoption in “forever homes”. No animal in our care will ever be “put to sleep” to make room for another! Those animals that are unable to be placed will find sanctuary with us as permanent residents of No Time to Spare. We also provide temporary pet food assistance for families that are having financially difficult times, assist in temporary housing for pets of families that have lost their homes and provide several cost effective options for spaying, neutering, micro chipping and vaccines. WE CAN NOT DO THIS WITHOUT YOU SUPPORT!!! Being a not for profit organization we rely solely on donations and volunteers! Your contributions are tax deductible

WHAT WE DO: As our name Rescue Adoption name states, we have a two part process: We start with the RESCUE process by saving dogs that have been already scheduled on PTS (Put To Sleep) lists, by placing a "Rescue Hold" on as many dogs as we can and as often as we can, subsequently we send one of our Rescue Vans to pick them up, bring them to our shelter where they will be provided with any medical attention needed in a home like environment, properly fed & housed, bathed & rid of parasites, socialized with other dogs & people, they will be spayed/neutered, micro chipped, vaccinated and finally get ready for adoption. Our ADOPTION process starts by featuring & introducing our doggies for adoption on our Website, word of mouth, Social Media & the internet; then we use one of our Rescue Vans to bring our doggies to adoption events where you can meet them in person. We literally bring them from death row to the comfort of a home. "Every time we adopt a dog we are able to save another one; this is why we go above and beyond by transporting the dogs and bringing them to potential adopters; we are always in a race against time to be able to save one more life" Dagmara Monsalve HOW WE ARE FUNDED: We don't receive government grants, receive any local tax-payer assistance, have Donald Trump or any rich investors funding our cause; our organization is over 90% self-funded by our deep desire to adopt dogs, we have adoption fees that allow us to provide the needed transportation costs, veterinary costs, surgeries, medicines & treatments, shelter operational costs, a clean environment, rent...etc (unfortunately too many to list them entirely). Less than 10% of our funding comes from private donations and charitable organizations. Our Dogs and Pups are Ready and Willing to Serve our Community Our "Paws In Action" program was created with the purpose of our Rescued Dogs, to serve our communities by bringing a smile and happiness to those in need, become ambassadors to the plight of other abused and neglected dogs, create a sense of awareness in the increasing problem of dog overpopulation and re-iterate the importance of Responsible Ownership. Our "Paws In Action" Doggies Are Eager to Visit: Children's Hospitals, Schools, Hospice, Retirement Homes,Hospitals or 501 c 3 Non-Profit Organizations.
