Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats. We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments. Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals. We have a monthly pet pantry, provide temporary fostering for emergency situations, have a Senior pets for Seniors program, and more.

We are a small dog rescue located in Colorado Springs. We started in 2019 with a board & two experienced foster volunteers. We believe in being a safe haven for dogs with defeated spirits with inclusion of community and education of the public.

Since the creation of Florida Poodle Rescue in 1994, we have found homes for over 9,500 Poodles, Standards, Miniatures, Toys, and Poodle-wannabes who have been abandoned, abused, neglected, unwanted, or who simply lost their home due to the death of their human parent. When they come to us, all are examined by a veterinarian and care is given as needed, spaying/neutering, vaccines, dental procedures, preventative medications, and microchips. Florida Poodle Rescue has also provided many of our Poodles with treatment for active cases of heartworm and major surgeries such as facial reconstruction, hip surgery, cataract sugeries, and broken bone repairs. All are placed in foster homes that provide love and patience to help them adjust before being adopted. A rescued Poodle's stay in foster care varies from several days to several months, depending on their condition when they arrived at Florida Poodle Rescue. These rescued dogs go on to lead joyful lives as cherished companions to loving human parents. The joy and satisfaction of rescuing a Poodle and being a part of their transformation cannot be described in words.

I am the founder and President of Rescue Tails Animal Welfare. I pull the dogs, get the vetted, adopted and run the show. I do it because I have a passion for animals and have grown up around rescue animals in need.

So we are here for you through the entire process, from adoption to socialization and training, to providing the education and support to keep your household comfortable and happy. And if you find yourself facing challenges that might lead to having to give up your dog, we offer solutions that can help you keep your dog. We promise any dog that comes into our care will never end up homeless during their lifetime. Beyond Rescue understands that adopting a dog is where the relationship starts, not where it ends. Our community of dog-loving people goes beyond rescuing dogs—we work to provide a safety net that helps to ensure that adoptive families have the ongoing support, education, and services they need to keep their dog happy and healthy and home. Forever. We started as a small group of friends who met inside the rescue community. We all bring different experiences, passions, and expertise. We believe our diversity is our strength and allows us to be an open-minded and accepting organization.

Our organization primarily helps owners keep pets in safe and healthy homes. We do this by offering support (i.e. training advice, management), supplies (i.e. food, crates, leashes), and we work closely with animal control on cases where owners truly just need help keeping pets. When re-homing is best, we work with owners to provide re-homing assistance which includes marketing and screening of applicants, as well as post-adoption support for adopters.

Piedmont Animal Rescue exists to Rescue, Rehabilitate, and Rehome as many lost and unwanted pets in the piedmont of North Carolina.
