We are a foster based rescue along the gulf coast who takes in the abandoned, abused, sick, stray, etc from shelters and individuals in the community. We vet the animals and get them healthy and then adopt out into an approved home through application, references and home visits.

Originally Zois Animal Rescue of Oklahoma we are a foster home based organization which rescues homeless and abandoned animals, provides for their health and safety until they are placed in a forever home.

Rescue Fenix, is a not for profit 501(c)3. We are an all volunteer all breed rescue mobilized by the feeling of compassion for animal welfare: those animals who are in danger, sick, abused and neglect. We ensure that each animal rescued, receives medical care and rehabilitation prior to rehoming them into a suitable furever home. We do not receive government funding and rely solely on the generosity of our donors.

Polk County Humane Society ensures a lifetime of safety, love and companionship for lost, abandoned and unwanted pets. We provide shelter and care in a safe, no-kill environment for pets awaiting a second chance. We adopt these pets to responsible, loving, and committed homes. Polk County Humane Society works to reduce the overpopulation, loss, abandonment and surrender of pets by promoting the spay and neuter of all pets, and educating the community on responsible and successful pet ownership.

Our president started as the Volunteer Rescue Coordinator at the Weatherford Parker County Animal Shelter, Weatherford, Tx. We recently started Weatherford Wags, a 501c3 non profit rescue. We are a foster-home based rescue, focused on saving urgent dogs at local shelters. We also attempt to help strays and unwanted dogs in order to keep them out of shelters and to get them into loving homes. We do not have a facility. To be effective in saving a dog's life, we depend on the community to step up and offer their homes to temporarily foster a dog until it's adopted or goes on transport to be adopted elsewhere. So many dogs that are at risk at the shelters are great dogs, that just need a chance to prove it, and not be euthanized for space at the shelter. We find foster homes for the dogs, provide needed medical attention, help with food, and then market the dogs. We then screen and approve potential adopters, and provide help with integrating a new dog into their home. We do it for the love of dogs, knowing that just because a dog happens to be in the shelter, it is not a bad dog.

CrisisDogsNC is a foster-based, 501 (c) (3) non-profit founded in 2017 by journalist and author Judith Reitman Texier whose investigative articles garnered international awards and prompted changes in animal welfare laws. She created the Organization in response to North Carolina’s euthanasia rate which is among the highest in the country and to many of its shelters’ methods of euthanasia that are so inhumane they are outlawed in most other states. ​ We rescue dogs from kill shelters, substandard backyard breeders, hoarders, and from chains. We provide full medical care, foster homes, and transport by land and air through our partnership with PilotsNPaws to fully screened and qualified adopters all along the East Coast. ​ What distinguishes us from other rescues is our focus on the relationship between the rescued dog and the new family. By understanding your lifestyle and expectations, as well as the personalities of our rescue dogs, we can make a compatible match for a lifelong bond. We are in it for the life of the dog. At any point after adoption, if the adopter's situation changes for whatever reason, we will always accept the dog back into the rescue.

We are a dog rescue. Nancy Jimeno founded the rescue and was originally saving mostly pitbulls. Overtime we have grown and we save all kinds of breeds from all over! We get dogs as strays, owner surrenders, abandonment cases, hoarding cases, the euthanasia list at shelters across Southern California and so much more! We strive to help animals in need while also teaching our community how to be better

About We give dogs the most important ride of their life. Founded in 2012, our volunteer-based charity has transported close to 2,500 dogs across North America and internationally that are at the threat of being euthanized. Working in partnership with shelters, we identify and transport dogs on buses, cars and planes to pre-qualified homes in Alberta and the Eastern Region of B.C. When our dogs have adjusted from their journey and settled into their foster homes, they are either adopted by the foster or become available for adoption. We are addressing an international crisis about shelter over-populations, owner dog surrenders and discriminatory breed specific legislation. We believe that every dog deserves a new leash on life.
