Founded in 2011 after seeing countless family pets being surrendered to kill shelters or thrown to the streets we felt the community needed a retention program offering free pet food to spayed and neutered pets, assistance with the surgeries and education about responsible pet ownership. We began to distribute free pet food to the community. Once we had a standing in the community helping pet parents we began to help the medically at risk dogs at our local kill shelter beginning in 2015. We pull Heartworm positive dogs and dogs with serious medical or behavior ailments as we believe they deserve just as much a chance at life as the perfectly healthy and adoptable ones at the shelter.

Our organization is the oldest pet welfare one in our community founded in 1957. Our board is 100% volunteer. We operate an Adoption Center in our rural community with the help of minimal paid staff and many volunteers. Primarily we provide shelter, medical and social rehabilitation, promote S/N, responsible pet ownership education, and permanent placement for abandoned pets in need in our community.

Piedmont Animal Rescue exists to Rescue, Rehabilitate, and Rehome as many lost and unwanted pets in the piedmont of North Carolina.

Toni Davison Retired Marine and Teacher. This organization specializes in rescuing homeless, abandoned dogs. Many require great deal medical care, training, and rehabilitation.

The Humane Society of Bay County was formed in November 1984 by a group of concerned citizens who recognized a need within our community. Since that time, the organization has acted as the animal advocate in our community. Mission: The Mission of the Humane Society of Bay County is to save, protect, and enhance the lives of animals in Bay County. Vision of the future: The Humane Society of Bay County is the community’s resource organization for saving animals and looks to a future no-kill shelter. Values: All animals’ lives are valued No Kill Shelter for Adoptable Animals Affordable Spay and Neuter Program Educational Programs at all levels throughout Bay County

Fur Angels Animal Sanctuary is an all volunteer foster based animal rescue network based in Illinois and Northwest Indiana. A core group of volunteers live in the Chicago Suburbs and surrounding Chicagoland area. As a small non-profit, Fur Angels works tirelessly to giving all animals a second chance at finding a forever home. Without having an actual shelter, we have many volunteers who have opened their homes to exotic animals and some with special needs. This rescue is unique because we foster many animals deemed unadoptable. We rescue dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, reptiles, turtles, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, rodents, fish and more!
