PURRS of HOPE Rescue, Inc, we are a 501c3 non-profit organization located in Hammond, Louisiana. We depend on and are completely funded by donations and operate as an all-volunteer organization. All donations are tax deductible. We are dedicated to rescuing our feline friends. There are hundreds of stray, feral and abandoned cats in our community that need our help and to be their voice. Mission: To rescue and save homeless cats / kittens that have become strays or unwanted by no choice of their own. We also pull cats from high kill shelters. We provide them with vet care, to improve their health and give them the quality of life and love they deserve; while being fostered until adopted out to their Fur-ever homes. We are a no-kill organization. Once a pet comes into our foster care it will remain there until adopted or appropriate long term foster is found. All cats/kittens are spayed / neutered, combo tested for feline leukemia/feline aids virus, given age appropriate vaccinations, wormed, and flea treated. We welcome and encourage volunteers to help with fostering, transporting and care of the cats. We are here to educating the public on the importance to spay and neuter their animals. We partner with other local non-profit organizations to reach our mission to sterilize cats / kittens by assisting the public and transporting their cats/kittens to low cost spay neuter clinics. Our goal is to make a great impact on the over population of cats in our surrounding area. We also participate in TNR of feral cats in our community. TNR humanely manages feral and free roaming cats, while preventing the cats from breeding. They are humanely trapped, spayed/ neutered and vaccinated, then released back to their home or relocated if necessary to reduce their numbers and improve their quality of life.

For The Cats' Sake was founded in 2014 to fill an urgent need in our community for TNR. Rappahannock County has no animal shelter for cat and no programs in place to deal with the significant numbers of unwanted cats, unplanned litters and community cats being cared for by compassionate, but low income individuals who cannot afford vet care.

We are a non-profit animal shelter ran by animal loving volunteers. We are a no kill shelter. We spay and neuter all our pets before adopting out. Our goal here is to return lost pets to their owners, find homes for those who have none, and promote compassionate treatment of animals everywhere.

Safe House focuses on the most at risk cats in our area. We are a foster only rescue, with 8 licensed foster homes. We are passionate about cats, and do our best to prepare them for loving homes.

A Welcome Home Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to help the homeless, hurt and/or abandoned animals.

We started many years ago as a TNR group for feral cats. Naturally you also get many scared, dumped domestic animals. Ferals had no advocates in our area when we started. Thankfully now, we've been working with our local animal control and they are finally not destroying all animals deemed feral. Unfortunately, there are still too many breeding animals (feral and domestic) that need help so we can stop the needless, mass reproduction. Sometimes that's a well-meaning individual who feeds cats and after a couple of years, realizes there is a problem, or it could be an elderly person who can't afford to vet their animals. The animals not only need our advocacy but occasionally the people we help do as well. We adopt the animals that can be adopted and find special placement for others that aren't so readily "adoptable".

Sweet Dream House Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit, no kill, all volunteer, all breed animal rescue. We utilize a network of foster homes for pets ready for adoption. Our mission is to rescue homeless and abandoned animals, to spay/neuter, vaccinate and provide any needed medical care until they are adopted into loving homes. We are often the rescue of last resort, waiting until other rescues select from the euthansia lists to rescue those that are not selected.

Arkanpaws Animal Rescue is a group of volunteers who are passionate about helping homeless animals through rescuing, fostering, vetting, and rehabilitating, and then finally finding them loving “fur-ever” homes. We’re located in central Arkansas, however, transport is available to most states. We arrange transport for dogs adopted into homes in New England every week. Most of our animals currently reside in foster homes in the central Arkansas area. ArkanPaws is committed to building a community of devoted pet families and helping facilitate greater networking and services for pet owners. We want to educate people about why it is so important to spay and neuter animals as a solution to ending the huge problem of pet overpopulation. Too many beautiful, healthy, adoptable pets are dying needlessly every day as a result of that overpopulation. We are developing a network of volunteer and foster families, and helping to spread the word about spay/neuter discount programs available, and other pet related information. Knowledge is power, and the power to evoke a positive change in the community is a beautiful thing indeed! Ahimsa Haven was incorporated in 1999 as a nonprofit animal rescue group. Our mission is to find good homes for abused, abandoned, homeless and unwanted domestic animals. I began as a volunteer and recently joined to Board of Directors and the Fundraising Committee. I do this because I love animals and have two rescue dogs myself.

Rescue, Retrain, Redeem, and Re-home. Redemption Road Rescue Rehab Inc. (R4) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue group in Illinois. R4 is volunteer-run and foster-based primarily in Lake and Cook County IL. We save and adopt out dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and backgrounds. Our rescue team consists of certified trainers that work with each and every animal in our care to help them find their best fit forever home.
