Love & Second Chances was created in hopes to better connect the public with the rescue community. Our rescue is based out of Northern California (San Ramon, CA ) with a small division in Sacramento, CA. Our foster homes are scattered all around the bay area and within the Sacramento division. Our team consist of compassionate people who share the same goals of rescuing those who are voiceless and in need of a second chances at life. In the end, the feeling of knowing you have saved a life at the brink of death is priceless. We believe rescuing doesn’t only save the animals in need but people as well. Mission is No More Homeless Pets

With a strict no-kill policy, several hundred dogs, cats and other animals of all ages and sizes call M'Shoogy's home. It costs approximately $50.00 per month per animal, excluding medicine, and approximately $500.00 per day to open the door. In over 19 years, we have saved more than 15,000 animals from certain death. Gary and Lisa Silverglat started M'Shoogy's and have given and lived a 24 hour commitment to the animals. They have had four days away from the Sanctuary in 19 years. They have never taken a salary for themselves, only given everything they have with no thought of monetary compensation. There are also other individuals, volunteers, and employees who help provide care and love for the animals. Several acres in the back are also dedicated to wildlife rehabilitation. Many animals are given medical attention and food until they are old enough and/or well enough to be reintroduced into the wild. Summer and spring brings around a large amount of raccoons and possums. Fox, owls, deer, squirrels and ducks have all called M'Shoogy's home for a little while. M'Shoogy's also provides educational tours and talks for groups to teach the importance of treating animals with dignity and respect. Permit laws and legislation against animal abuse have also been passed with M'Shoogy's help.

HHHA is a no-kill shelter dedicated to improving the lives of homeless dogs and cats while also working to substantially lower the numbers of animals reproduced or relinquished.

SOSARL is dedicated to helping at risk animals as we work towards a No Kill Nation. SOSARL facilitates the rescue and placement of homeless dogs with loving forever homes. We advocate for homeless and at risk animals while providing comfort, rehabilitation and veterinary care to the animals in our program. SOSARL endeavors to promote and support life-saving initiatives that enable responsible pet guardianship while treating each animal and adopter as an individual.

A Forever-Home Rescue Foundation is a non-profit dog rescue group that operates in the Northern Virginia / Washington Metropolitan area. We strive to make quality dogs available for adoption and do our best to match prospective adopters with the right animal! We live in a primarily rural area with a 50% poverty level and 40% non Caucasian/transient population. Due to the farmer mentality or disposable mentality of our area many pets find them selves homeless due to no fault of their own. We take in animals that are neglected, abandon, injured or just unwanted. We rehabilitate them and then re-home them through our adoption process. We have been solely foster based since 2010 and are currently building our new facility. We do it all with volunteers and we do it because we love it! The animals deserve better and we try our best to offer them that by doing what we can, when we can, the best we can, with what we have and with all our heart.
