11th Hour Dog & Cat Rescue pull mainly from Kill City & County Pounds. We take nursing puppies & kittens. We take special needs dogs & cats. We take the big dogs but will take the small breeds as well. We are located on a big farm where animals are often dumped. We had so many dumped & living with us, my husband said to do something with all these dogs. So, I opened a rescue. We celebrated our second year in July 2017. We are family based rescue. Cats are housed in our home. Dogs are housed in kennels &/or our home.

We are a small foster based 501(c)3 dog rescue. We take owner surrenders and we pull from local shelters. We like so many others are just trying to make a difference

Paw Kindness is a 501(c)(3), no-kill organization. Our mission is to reduce euthanasia of homeless animals through rescue, adoption and education about responsible pet guardianship.

Provide for the humane care of found and injured or abused animals, protection of the citizenry from stray and/or aggressive animals and education of proper and responsible pet ownership. The mission of the Animal Control Department is to balance the health, safety and welfare needs of the people and the animals within the City of Hesperia.

The Humane Society of Imperial County takes in dogs, cats, rabbits, and an occasional pig. The HSOIC never euthanizes for space. We work with rescues to move animals out of the Humane Society and into foster homes where they can be adopted. We also work with Wings of Rescue to fly animals to rescues and shelters in other states where the demand for animal adoptions is greater. We hold adoption events in San Diego as well as El Centro to move animals out as well.
