Solano County Friends of Animals is a 501c3 rescue organization in Solano County, California. We are dedicated to reducing the number of homeless and abandoned pets by offering foster-to-adoption services, TNR for feral cats, and spay/neuter assistance for the community. We are a 100% volunteer organization and average 350 adoptions per year.

Kizzy's Place began in September of 2015 when a cat from the South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter named "Skidz" caught the eye of our founders. This poor kitty had been hit by a car and had unknown injuries on top of suffering from an upper respiratory infection and was going to be euthanized if rescue didn't step up. With no rescues able to help him we decided to do it ourselves. With an offer to donate towards care, an offer to foster, and an offer to transport to the vet for much-needed medical care we were able to save this boy's life. He was renamed Kizzy and lived with founder and Director, Blake Martin until his unfortunate passing in the fall of 2019. He is the catalyst for everything we've done and we honor his legacy by how we save going forward. Since our humble beginnings, we've been able to save over 1,000 animals in the South Jersey and Philadelphia area since 2015. As a small foster-based rescue this number is staggering and something we are truly proud of. Our focus is the sick, scared, injured, and forgotten animals. This philosophy has led to some referring to us as "The Island of Misfit Cats," a nickname we proudly accept. Our goal is simple. Provide care for these forgotten animals and when they are ready find their happy ending. We are exclusively volunteer-run and donor funded and are so thankful for all of the people who have contributed towards our mission and to those who have opened their homes to some of our wonderful animals. Our organization was created to reduce the population of stray animals using trap-neuter-release, to provide medical, physical and emotional support to abandoned and stray animals, to make all attempts to safely re-home non-feral animals, provide a safe haven for feral cats, promote responsible pet ownership and provide humane education within the community. We are an all volunteer organization maintaining a small shelter, foster homes and a feral cat sanctuary.

We are Gutter Cat Adoptions, we believe all cats and kittens deserve the best quality care, nutrition, and most of all love. Even the cats found or left in the gutter. We generally take in owner relinquishments, but we also take in femi seral kittens in need of socialization from TNR (Trap,Neuter,Return) projects. If we are in need of cats and kittens we will also pull from other rescues that need help, but our main focus is cats in our area. We believe that there is too many cats in need of homes and we are trying to do our part to help with the overpopulation by spaying and neutering all of the cats and kittens in our area, as well as educating the public on the importance of spaying and neutering, even community/outdoor cats.

We are small in size but big in heart.Dedicated to helping feral and abandoned kittens and cats.We believe in TNR (Trap,Neuter,Return) & support several cat colonies on the SF Peninsula by feeding, providing medical help & rehoming when possible. During this very feisty kitten season, we are rescuing abandoned and stray kittens found by other rescues and other community members.

We are 3 chicks who have a passion for stray and homeless kitties. We help with TNR and take in cats/kittens who have a chance to be helped, rehabilitated and adopted out. We only rescue from the streets, no owner surrenders.

We are tackling the problem one animal at a time. Ayla’s Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue is a St. Augustine, Florida-based 501(c)(3) supporting adoption, spay and neuter, and responsible care of animals. Along with education, outreach, and adoption and fostering programs, Ayla’s Acres also maintains a 45-acre sanctuary where “unadoptable” animals may live out their lives with peace, love, and dignity.

We are a 501c3 organization with a mission to rescue, restore and rehome companion animals, primarily cats. We have a passion for animals and strive to be a voice for them. We are also involved in TNR to address overpopulation.
