Rescue Kitty is a 501(c)(3) Foster-based kitty rescue located mostly in Southern New Jersey. We provide fostering, vet care, adoption coordinating, TNR, and rescue. We leave no kitty behind!

We rescue community cats and kittens from the streets of Phoenix, spay/neuter, vaccinate, adopt and do Trap, Neuter and Rescue or Return depending on their living situation and their adoptability. I have been in rescue for over 30 years and I only recently set up a nonprofit. My passion is the animals and I have been brining home stray cats since I was 6 years old.

I was in Dog Rescue as VP of a large 501c3 dog rescue for 7 years after living a life of being an animal lover and taking in all hurt / strays etc I could afford. While part of teh dog rescue, I independently rescued a tiny kitten that had been attacked by something. That cat is now a wonderful part of our family with a missing tail, missing ear and he's blind in one eye! I realized then that there are in Dallas probably 5 dog rescues for every cat rescue and thus began my journey to start A Voice for All Paws. I spent about a year putting the pieces together and planning and became a 501c3 reality in July 2018.

Matty's story: I started to see Matty's picture posted on the MG Impound Dogs page in late October of 2012. Matty and his "mate", Athena, were in jail for bite quarantine. They were playing and a lady got scratched by either a tooth or a claw, and they could not determine by which dog. The owners knew Athena and Fatty (Matty's actual name from owner, Cheryl changed it because he was no Fatty) were there, but they didn't have the funds to pay for fees and vetting. Athena was rescued. From the time I saw Matty's picture, the one where he is sitting on Cheryl's shoes, I knew I needed him. I asked numerous big and small rescues if they would please pull Matty for me. Their answers were all the same, we have a blue Pit Bull you can adopt. No, it had to be Matty! Matty's time was coming near and they scheduled a euthanasia date. I was in tears daily. Finally, though, last minute, the day before he was to be killed, Amber from One of a Kind Pet Rescue said she would pull him for me! I was ecstatic! I picked Matty up from the impound on January 2nd, 2013. He wasn't perfect, but he was perfect for me...and he didn't become a statistic....he is truly my heart & soul. He brought Cheyenne and I out of a deep depression over losing Teddy, my Chow Chow, to Lymphoma. Matty started my learning journey into rescue. I havent been in very long. I have held many roles ( vetting, intake, foster, events and fundraising coordinator to just name a few) in the rescues I have been in, and I have fostered about 100 puppies. I was blinded, ignorant of all that was happening prior to Matty. My blinders were lifted, Matty and I, with some friends would like to make a bigger impact. Mission is to bring hope back to the discarded, abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs and cats, and provide them with all they need in a loving foster family until they find their perfect forever home. We are an all volunteer group who's mission is to reduce the numbers of animals euthanized in our area shelters through aggressive adoption and spay/neuter programs. We partner with area shelters, to concentrate on the cats and dogs that have run out of time or have special needs. We move them to a safe haven with private citizens, strive to provide them with any veterinary care they need, and then we find them loving homes. Since 2004, over 11,000 of these previously unwanted animals found their forever homes through our safety net. When one of ours gets adopted, we go and get another.

We are a rescue organization focused on connecting homeless cats to their forever home. We rescue cats from the local shelter and community. For thos cats that require medical attention or socialization we have foster homes where we place the cats until they are healthy or socialized to the point where they can be adopted. We also take healthy cats directly to our cat lounge where they are available for adoption. We do this because we do not want to see any cat linger in the shelter or on the streets when we can help them find a loving home.

Stray Haven is located in Aurora Indiana, situated in the tri-state area between Cincinnati Ohio, Indianapolis Indiana and Louisville KY. Our pet rescue has a unique two tier goal that focuses on saving stray animals through adoption, education, exposure and sharing of resources. Our first mission is to rescue and adopt out homeless pets to amazing homes, plain and simple. We have a foster based program that strives to heal the heart, soul and instill confidence in our abandoned babies. In addition to building up the emotional side of our fosters, we take care of their medical needs. Our pets will come with all age appropriate vetting, including spay neuter, microchip, rabies, vaccinations, health tests (heartworm test on dogs and FIV/FELV in cats), and preventative care such as wormer, flea/tick & heartworm (dogs only). Our pets come from our Independent Rescue Partners, which comprise our second mission. The second goal is much more complicated and revolves around supporting the front line troops that have eyes on the ground in rural areas of Kentucky. People imagine and share the pain when they hear of dogs and cats dying in an animal shelter, but what most people don't realize is just how many counties don't have access to an animal facility. While any loss is a sad one, having a shelter that feeds and shelters a pet in it's final days provides a bit of hope compared to the horrific end that can befall so many homeless babies. The pet overpopulation issue is well known and widespread but still there is no end in sight for many counties with minimal income, education and resources. Many counties in our Midwestern and Southern states don't have a county shelter, which means animals get no care or they have holding facilities that contract with other counties to take their homeless pets. The contracted county shelters are almost always overcrowded and taking in the additional animals means additional stresses which lead to frequent euthanasia. Rescues in Kentucky and surrounding states work tirelessly trying to help out the situation but to date it has been a losing battle. For some lucky dogs and cats in those counties with no shelter, they have front line troops, called Independent Rescuers that work tirelessly and on their own dime to shelter them. They start by literally saving the animal, whether hurt on the side of the road, abandoned on mountain tops and coal mines, starving in well meaning residents homes, or forgotten when someone had to relocate, regardless of the situation the Independent Rescuer finds and brings the unwanted pets into their home to provide food and temporary housing. Once the dog is safe from harm they work to facilitate rescue, foster and donations to help with emergency vetting as needed. Despite their best efforts, Independent Rescuers can't always secure rescue for the animals that they have in their care. Rescues try their best but at the end of the day there is only so much foster space available and they can't save them all. This conundrum quickly becomes a financial burden on the front line troops, leaving them to feed and vet those that they were unable to find rescue for. Our mission is to support these rescuers through Education, Exposure and the Sharing of Resources to keep their life saving passion alive! While we can take some of their animals, we will never have enough fosters to take them all, so instead we help to secure homes for as many of their babies as we can through exposure via adoption sites in our more populated location.
