Founded in 2003 by Lana Bajsel, Give Me Shelter Cat Rescue (a registered 501(C)3 non-profit organization), has worked tirelessly within the San Francisco community to help stop the overpopulation of abandoned and unwanted adult and senior cats. As a small group of dedicated volunteers, we try to save as many feline lives as we can. We provide behavioral and medical intervention, unconditional love and a safe haven while we seek new forever homes for our feline friends. As many of you know, the odds are stacked against older cats that are placed in local shelters. Here in San Francisco, most adult cats are at risk of being euthanized, whether it is due to their age, easily treatable medical conditions, or due to the stress of being placed in a shelter. We believe that adult and senior cats, with their typically calm personalities, can make the best of family pets. Our mission is to rescue these cats and find them loving, permanent homes through fostering and active adoption strategies.

Polk County Humane Society ensures a lifetime of safety, love and companionship for lost, abandoned and unwanted pets. We provide shelter and care in a safe, no-kill environment for pets awaiting a second chance. We adopt these pets to responsible, loving, and committed homes. Polk County Humane Society works to reduce the overpopulation, loss, abandonment and surrender of pets by promoting the spay and neuter of all pets, and educating the community on responsible and successful pet ownership.

I am a cat lover and have done significant efforts to improve the life of those cats that crossed my path. I have recently started a DBA to facilitate adoption process of my current foster cats. I have done TNR over an area of Spring Branch (zip code 77080) for about 8 years now. I funded myself or with help of local charities such (CAP, Best Friends etc.). It was sad to return the cats after TNR knowing that they may not have any meal, so I became colony manager (Feeding and TNR) of a colony of 45 stray cats over the same area for about 7 years. Some of the cats that I daily feed are young and friendly, so I enroll them for adoption with local rescue groups when they have capacity. With their help, I have been able to find homes for about 60 friendly cats and young kittens. I fostered them and in many cases covered the vetting to enroll them in adoption programs of HOPE rescue, Save A Purrfect Cat Rescue, Houston Cares Animal Rescue among others. I feel like I have learned about rescue, fostering and adoption process for the last 6 years and could continue serving the community independently. I learned about your Adoption Portal functionality by volunteering with HOPE rescue. I really like the fact that you could post pets for adoption on multiple sites, that is a fantastic marketing option. It is my dream being able post my current foster cats stories (see my instagram site "Adoptable_Cats_Houston for your reference) and find them forever homes. We are the only no-kill Humane Society in Ottawa County, Ohio. We care for abused, abandoned and neglected animals and find them new loving forever homes.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill animal shelter. We are dedicated to providing the compassionate well-being of abused, unwanted, and surrendered pets. Animals in our care are spayed or neutered, receive all appropriate veterinary care, and are treated with love and respect as they await to be matched into loving forever homes! Our goal is to educate the community on animal welfare, collaborate with other shelters, and ultimately strive for a world where every companion animal has a loving home.

We are a small grass roots all volunteer run rescue group that started as one person trying to help the stray cats and dogs in her South Los Angeles community Over the past nine years we have grown to 75 volunteers and numerous adoption locations. We are the project of a 501C3 organization and partner with numerous rescues in the are.

Safe Pet Project, a nonprofit, volunteer run organization offers our mountain community information, resources and services addressing the many needs of area pets. With input from local animal advocates regarding the most pressing needs of our animals Safe Pet Project has decided to provide low cost pet ID tags, free microchipping, financial assistance for low income families, spaying/neutering of cats and dogs, TNR, find homes for animals and any other service needed. We want to make sure the pets in our community are safe and healthy.

We are a cat kitten rescue501c3 and have devoted decades as well as incredible funding and resources to ending homelessness, cruelty and neglect. We are 100% volunteer based and have received Maddie Funds grants, Manatee County Animal Services cooperative grants and recently received a large FAF grant to TNR. We use many tools to end homelessness in cats and kittens thru adoption, spays,neuters, tNR’s, education, awareness. Some of us have migrated from the canine world where things are much better. Dogs are not born under every dumpster and the author of this has worked for decades to close commercial breeding facility (aka Puppy mills). Community cat colony maintenance and pawpulation control is another aspect of this rescue.
