I am the President of the Non Profit, we save dogs at risk of being killed in shelters and rehabilitate them to place in loving forever homes

Solano County Animal Care Division is responsible for the care of all stray, injured and owner surrendered animals for the seven surrounding cities: Benicia, Dixon, Fairfield, Rio Vista, Suisun City, Vacaville, and Vallejo. We are devoted and dedicated to the service of our residents and welfare of all animals residing in Solano County. We strive to go above and beyond for the animals in our care and community. One of our goals and mission is to place a positive light on the negative stigma that surrounds a county shelter. As the office supervisor, I pride myself in the work that I do on and off hours for my community, the animals, and my team. I am proud to work along side my teammates who are just as hard working and passionate at what they do and why.

Our community of dog-loving people goes beyond rescuing dogs—we work to provide a safety net that helps to ensure that adoptive families have the ongoing support, education, and services they need to keep their dog happy and healthy and home. Forever. We started as a small group of friends who met inside the rescue community. We all bring different experiences, passions, and expertise. We believe our diversity is our strength and allows us to be an open-minded and accepting organization.

Our organization primarily helps owners keep pets in safe and healthy homes. We do this by offering support (i.e. training advice, management), supplies (i.e. food, crates, leashes), and we work closely with animal control on cases where owners truly just need help keeping pets. When re-homing is best, we work with owners to provide re-homing assistance which includes marketing and screening of applicants, as well as post-adoption support for adopters.

The mission of Take Paws Rescue is to meet the moral obligation to protect and save the lives of pets in need of rescue in Louisiana. Take Paws Rescue enacts this mission by pulling pets from shelters and preparing them for transport to fosters, adopters, rescue organizations, and other shelters around the U.S. in need of adoptable pets.

Since 2011 Animal Help Alliance has been saving Bully Breed Type dogs in the Las Vegas Valley. We focus on those in danger of euthanasia at our local shelter or those unwanted due to medical or behavioral issues. Our goals are not only to place homeless dogs into their true forever home, but also to promote and provide community outreach, education, spay/neuter and owner assistance to keep pets in their homes and reduce the local unwanted dog population.
