We are a foster based rescue along the gulf coast who takes in the abandoned, abused, sick, stray, etc from shelters and individuals in the community. We vet the animals and get them healthy and then adopt out into an approved home through application, references and home visits.

Originally Zois Animal Rescue of Oklahoma we are a foster home based organization which rescues homeless and abandoned animals, provides for their health and safety until they are placed in a forever home.

We rescue dogs and cats from shelters and owner surrender situations and find them new homes. Our tagline- is living up to our legacy always being faithful one animal at a time.

Polk County Humane Society ensures a lifetime of safety, love and companionship for lost, abandoned and unwanted pets. We provide shelter and care in a safe, no-kill environment for pets awaiting a second chance. We adopt these pets to responsible, loving, and committed homes. Polk County Humane Society works to reduce the overpopulation, loss, abandonment and surrender of pets by promoting the spay and neuter of all pets, and educating the community on responsible and successful pet ownership.

The Alternative Humane Society is a foster-only, 501(c)3 rescue organization. We are an all-volunteer, nonprofit animal welfare organization serving Whatcom County, Washington, helping animals and educating the public since 1977 We have no shelter, office, or paid staff and rely on private donations to help run our organization. Our programs include Canine and Feline Foster & Adoption, Spay & Neuter Assistance, and Community Cats Information and Referral. Mission Statement: The Alternative Humane Society of Whatcom County is an all-volunteer, non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to improving the lives of dogs and cats and helping them find and stay in permanent loving homes. Our president started as the Volunteer Rescue Coordinator at the Weatherford Parker County Animal Shelter, Weatherford, Tx. We recently started Weatherford Wags, a 501c3 non profit rescue. We are a foster-home based rescue, focused on saving urgent dogs at local shelters. We also attempt to help strays and unwanted dogs in order to keep them out of shelters and to get them into loving homes. We do not have a facility. To be effective in saving a dog's life, we depend on the community to step up and offer their homes to temporarily foster a dog until it's adopted or goes on transport to be adopted elsewhere. So many dogs that are at risk at the shelters are great dogs, that just need a chance to prove it, and not be euthanized for space at the shelter. We find foster homes for the dogs, provide needed medical attention, help with food, and then market the dogs. We then screen and approve potential adopters, and provide help with integrating a new dog into their home. We do it for the love of dogs, knowing that just because a dog happens to be in the shelter, it is not a bad dog.

We are the only no-kill Humane Society in Ottawa County, Ohio. We care for abused, abandoned and neglected animals and find them new loving forever homes.

CrisisDogsNC is a foster-based, 501 (c) (3) non-profit founded in 2017 by journalist and author Judith Reitman Texier whose investigative articles garnered international awards and prompted changes in animal welfare laws. She created the Organization in response to North Carolina’s euthanasia rate which is among the highest in the country and to many of its shelters’ methods of euthanasia that are so inhumane they are outlawed in most other states. ​ We rescue dogs from kill shelters, substandard backyard breeders, hoarders, and from chains. We provide full medical care, foster homes, and transport by land and air through our partnership with PilotsNPaws to fully screened and qualified adopters all along the East Coast. ​ What distinguishes us from other rescues is our focus on the relationship between the rescued dog and the new family. By understanding your lifestyle and expectations, as well as the personalities of our rescue dogs, we can make a compatible match for a lifelong bond. We are in it for the life of the dog. At any point after adoption, if the adopter's situation changes for whatever reason, we will always accept the dog back into the rescue.

Angels 4 Paws’ mission is to enhance the lives of animals at the shelters and save precious souls by placing them in foster care while actively seeking permanent and loving homes.

We are a small grass roots all volunteer run rescue group that started as one person trying to help the stray cats and dogs in her South Los Angeles community Over the past nine years we have grown to 75 volunteers and numerous adoption locations. We are the project of a 501C3 organization and partner with numerous rescues in the are.
