Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats. We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments. Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals. We have a monthly pet pantry, provide temporary fostering for emergency situations, have a Senior pets for Seniors program, and more.

Paws of Love, Inc. is a new, community-driven initiative that is working not only to restore faith in animal welfare in Lawrence County, but to provide a beacon of hope for abandoned and neglected animals. This group of volunteers is passionate about filling the void left in our community when we found ourselves without a local animal rescue group. At Paws of Love, Inc., our mission is to promote the humane treatment of animals through shelter, adoption, transport, education, and advocacy. Would you like to help us? Please adopt! The building that we are using to shelter the animals left to us is in need of extensive repairs and renovations that can best be done in an empty building. As such, our biggest need is to find good, forever homes for the dogs in our care. If you have room in your heart and your home, adoptions are our most fervent wish right now. Sadly, until necessary building repairs can be made, we cannot accept any additional animals. We are only staffed by volunteers right now, with irregular hours, but if you would like to meet our precious dogs, please let us know, and we will make arrangements to meet you. Please give! The Ripley County Humane Society is a no kill animal shelter that provides quality care and shelter to strays, abused, injured or unwanted dogs and cats, in a clean, safe, nurturing, cost effective environment, resulting in securing forever homes regardless of the amount of time involved in the effort.

A Home of Their Own Animal Rescue was formed to make it easier for people to adopt animals in need and for animals to find their forever homes. We also provide education, community, and support to forever families and their adopted pets.

Arcadia Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization dedicated to alleviating the suffering of abused and abandoned animals. At Arcadia, animals are valued and the human-animal bond is celebrated. Our vision is a modern-day “Arcadia” or Utopia for all animals. While we know this is an ambitious goal, it is one we will tirelessly strive for. No animal should be euthanized to save space, because it is unwanted, or because of the inconvenience of care.

We are a foster based rescue along the gulf coast who takes in the abandoned, abused, sick, stray, etc from shelters and individuals in the community. We vet the animals and get them healthy and then adopt out into an approved home through application, references and home visits.

Pet Refuge is a limited admission private nonprofit cat and dog shelter in South Bend, IN We are volunteer based and have a shelter and also a foster network for cats and dogs in our care. We also have a High Volume/High Quality Spay and Neuter clinic.

OklaHOME Animal Rescue, Inc. is the newest foster-based dog rescue focused on transparency and advocacy for the voiceless 🤍 Our focus is on the small, rural, underfunded, and high-kill shelters in our state to make the biggest impact.
