Rescue Dogs Rock, Inc

PO Box 101 Gracie Station

info@rescuedogsrocknyc.org
Rescue Dogs Rock is a not for profit animal rescue founded in 2015. We exist solely on donations and will rely primarily on fundraising to help animals in need. Our mission is to raise awareness of the ever growing plight of homeless animals in this country, both in shelters and those dumped on our streets. Way too many amazing animals are euthanized every single day simply because they are homeless. We want to introduce these animals to the public and educate people that unwanted companion animals are not damaged goods or unworthy, but really can be great family pets. Because the abuse, neglect, cruelty and medical cases cost shelters the most money and are the most urgent, they are often the first animals euthanized. It is our goal to focus on the rescue of these urgent animals and provide them immediately the routine, emergency or specialized medical care they need and deserve. We will go beyond just vet care and get these animals rehabilitated as needed using trainers and behaviorists to help overcome issues related to past trauma. It is our belief that no injured or abused animal should lose its life simply due to lack of funds. We do not have our own shelter, and we will rely on volunteers, fosters and adopters to take the animals into their homes and provide them with proper care and nurturing. All of our animals will be vaccinated, heartworm tested, micro-chipped and altered. All of our homes, foster or adopter, will be fully screened, including references and vet check, an interview with the applicant and a home visit to ensure the home is the right fit for the animal. Our outreach and education efforts will take place online via Facebook, web site and other social media as well as in person in the community via community events, school assemblies and any place people may lawfully gather to exchange information and learn. Our message is one teaching general animal care and welfare, population control through spay and neuter and disease control in the animal population via proper vaccinations.

Every Dog Counts Rescue

PO Box 24786
Indiana

everydogcountsrescue@gmail.com(317) 300-4332
We are an all-volunteer, all-breed rescue located in the Indianapolis area. We do not have a shelter facility, so all animals are cared for in foster care until adopted. We primarily pull dogs and cats from Indianapolis Animal Care and Control, which is the municipal shelter in Indianapolis. We specialize in pulling dogs who are seriously injured or ill. We also take many senior animals. We also have a feral cat sanctuary at the home of our director. Since we take many senior, sick and injured dogs, our average veterinary cost per animal in 2014 was approximately $500. We saved approximately 250 animals, with vet costs of over $120,000, funded through donations. We truly believe every animal counts, and have been fortunate to grow our organization to help the ones who have the least amount of time to get out of the shelter; the sick and injured. We believe if an animal has a potential to still have a good quality of life, they deserve a chance.

Everglades Angels Dog Rescue is a NonProfit 100% Volunteer organization to end the suffering of thousands of abandoned pet dogs, feral and breeding packs of dogs, by physical rescue & rehoming. Our mission is to end the suffering of thousands of abandoned pet, feral and breeding packs of dogs, by physical rescue, from rural and remote areas of Florida. Our goal is to treat the rescued dogs medically, including sterilization and microchip identification. Also, to provide psychological training and placement in qualified homes. The rescue dogs homing procedure encompass's verification by home check of adopter, vet treatment verification of current pets, and in person interview, as well as meeting between future adopter and the rescue dog. Also, to verify current pets in the home will be compatible, prior to finalization of adoption. Adoption of a healthy well adjusted dog is vital to our mission in preventing future abandonment. The current battle to decrease the ever growing abandonment of pets and proliferation of breeding packs is an immense project. These dogs numbers are multiplying by thousands weekly. We are dedicated to creating innovative projects and attending events to fund our mission. Educating the public by circulating written information, visiting community centers and speaking with locals in remote areas of Florida. To bring awareness of the tragedy of abandonment, for the day of dumping, onset of starvation and dehydration, infestation by parasites, torture of biting mosquitoes, ticks and snakes and death by ingestion, by other wildlife or reptiles. Our organization is unique because our dedication is to the truly in need, with no shelter, food and basic chance of survival. We seek out the tortured, sick and debilitated dogs, in the most remote areas of Florida, to end suffering and proliferation of dogs, not indigenous to these areas.
