CrisisDogsNC is a foster-based, 501 (c) (3) non-profit founded in 2017 by journalist and author Judith Reitman Texier whose investigative articles garnered international awards and prompted changes in animal welfare laws. She created the Organization in response to North Carolina’s euthanasia rate which is among the highest in the country and to many of its shelters’ methods of euthanasia that are so inhumane they are outlawed in most other states. ​ We rescue dogs from kill shelters, substandard backyard breeders, hoarders, and from chains. We provide full medical care, foster homes, and transport by land and air through our partnership with PilotsNPaws to fully screened and qualified adopters all along the East Coast. ​ What distinguishes us from other rescues is our focus on the relationship between the rescued dog and the new family. By understanding your lifestyle and expectations, as well as the personalities of our rescue dogs, we can make a compatible match for a lifelong bond. We are in it for the life of the dog. At any point after adoption, if the adopter's situation changes for whatever reason, we will always accept the dog back into the rescue.

We are a small but mighty organization and my husband and I operate most of the organization. We work full time in Real Estate and Rescue is our passion so we tagged it Real Estate and Rescue!

I am the founder and President of Rescue Tails Animal Welfare. I pull the dogs, get the vetted, adopted and run the show. I do it because I have a passion for animals and have grown up around rescue animals in need.

We are a 100% volunteer driven group with a number years experience with animals and rescue. Our mission is to rescue, foster, rehabilitate and rehome, abandoned, abused and unwanted animals in Willows and Chico, California.

Love & Second Chances was created in hopes to better connect the public with the rescue community. Our rescue is based out of Northern California (San Ramon, CA ) with a small division in Sacramento, CA. Our foster homes are scattered all around the bay area and within the Sacramento division. Our team consist of compassionate people who share the same goals of rescuing those who are voiceless and in need of a second chances at life. In the end, the feeling of knowing you have saved a life at the brink of death is priceless. We believe rescuing doesn’t only save the animals in need but people as well. Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit dedicated to finding forever homes with unwanted and homeless dogs. We save dogs from shelters or take pets from homes where they are no longer want them, and help them transition to a forever home through foster care if necessary! We believe every dog deserves a chance in a wonderful home.
