We are a dog rescue that rescues dogs that are strays, or owner surrenders or shelter saves because we believe in giving them a doggone chance. We are a small but mighty organization and my husband and I operate most of the organization. We work full time in Real Estate and Rescue is our passion so we tagged it Real Estate and Rescue!

At Beyond Rescue, we’re committed to ensuring that you and your dog are family forever. So we are here for you through the entire process, from adoption to socialization and training, to providing the education and support to keep your household comfortable and happy. And if you find yourself facing challenges that might lead to having to give up your dog, we offer solutions that can help you keep your dog. We promise any dog that comes into our care will never end up homeless during their lifetime. Beyond Rescue understands that adopting a dog is where the relationship starts, not where it ends. Our community of dog-loving people goes beyond rescuing dogs—we work to provide a safety net that helps to ensure that adoptive families have the ongoing support, education, and services they need to keep their dog happy and healthy and home. Forever. We started as a small group of friends who met inside the rescue community. We all bring different experiences, passions, and expertise. We believe our diversity is our strength and allows us to be an open-minded and accepting organization.

The Humane Society of Imperial County takes in dogs, cats, rabbits, and an occasional pig. The HSOIC never euthanizes for space. We work with rescues to move animals out of the Humane Society and into foster homes where they can be adopted. We also work with Wings of Rescue to fly animals to rescues and shelters in other states where the demand for animal adoptions is greater. We hold adoption events in San Diego as well as El Centro to move animals out as well.

Wags and Whiskers Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit all breed, NO KILL, animal rescue organization, incorporated in August 2015. We are a 100% volunteer driven group with a number years experience with animals and rescue. Our mission is to rescue, foster, rehabilitate and rehome, abandoned, abused and unwanted animals in Willows and Chico, California.
