All Paws Rescue, Inc.

O Fallon
Missouri

info@allpawsrescue.info(636) 288-2999
All Paws Rescue, Inc. is an all volunteer non-profit animal rescue organization based in St. Charles County, Missouri. Our mission is to rescue homeless, abused and neglected dogs and cats, provide any necessary medical care or behavioral help they need, and then place them into loving permanent homes. All Paws is made up entirely of foster homes, which allows us to better evaluate each animal and... place them in homes that are well-suited to their needs and the needs of their future owners. All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested (dogs) or FIV/FeLV tested (cats), and microchipped before being placed for adoption. In addition to our adoption program, All Paws also offers multiple services to our community, including low-cost spay/neuter services and placement assistance for owners needing to re-home their pets.

Paws 4 You Rescue

Florida

Paws 4 You Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit, volunteer, donor-supported animal rescue organization based in Miami, Florida. Our top priority is to save animals from euthanasia at Miami-Dade Animal Services. On average 100 animals are euthanized every day at this county shelter! Rescued animals vary from being sick, injured, homeless and surrendered to simply lost. We give these animals a safe environment, professional medical care, hope and lots of love. Our animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and ID micro-chipped. Some require major surgery from a specialist to repair broken limbs while others may need additional rehabilitation time and specific medical care - ranging from bordetella (kennel cough) and skin infections to cherry eye and heartworm treatments. All benefit physically and emotionally from a new loving family to call his or her own. Once Paws 4 You Rescue commits to helping an animal, we seek the best quality treatment available - taking no shortcuts. Our dogs stay at veterinary clinics, boarding facilities and foster homes until they find their forever homes. We spend time taking our new friends to different events across South Florida to find suitable homes. Our team is compassionate and passionate in reaching these goals. We are a group of professional people with various backgrounds, who together have decided to commit to saving as many of these animals as possible. Additionally, we believe in the value of education pertaining to the importance of spaying and neutering. Pet overpopulation is a serious problem in our county and by sterilizing your pet, you help to relieve the strain on Miami-Dade Animal Services and our community.

Trinity GAP Club

The Trinity Girls Awareness Program, or GAP Club, is an organization, which not only focuses on girls' issues, but also makes them aware of their community and hopefully makes them better students and citizens. As part of the community awareness, we have been the official sponsor of the Euless Animal Shelter for the past six years. It is our goal to help the shelter adopt pets and find forever homes or fosters so they will not be put down. We do this through networking, pet adoption sites, and raising funds to lower the cost of spaying/neutering, in addition to vaccinating the shelter pets for parvo and distemper. We have also helped with heartworm treatment and various other medical costs of animals in need. Our sponsors visit the shelter at least once a week to update pictures, shots, and check on the dogs and cats. We take the GAP girls twice a month so they can volunteer and understand why we sponsor pets and have fund-raises. The shelter's euthanasia rate has dropped dramatically since we have been working with them. We owe a lot of this to networking and the internet. I personally get a lot of satisfaction out of working with the shelter and the animals because the animals can't help themselves and they seem so genuinely grateful when you give them even just the littlest bit of attention and love. The best feeling is when you see a family or single person find that "perfect" pet that they have been looking for and the animal has found a wonderful forever home!

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs from high-kill shelters and owners who can no longer care for them. By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, trainers, and boarding facilities, we are able to rescue hundreds of animals every year, provide them with loving temporary care, and find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes. We also serve as a resource to our community and all pet owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition.

Kankakee County Animal Control & Adoption Center

We are a non-profit 501(c)3 shelter catering to the many stray, abandoned, neglected and needy pets within Kankakee County. We are committed to educating the public on animal welfare & care including necessity of vaccinating, microchiping and spay/neuter to reduce pet over-population. Many of these animals come to us as strays or their owners refuse to care for them. We work very hard with very limited resources to provide these animals with all they need and to find them new, loving and permanent homes. However, we stand firm with the following: * We will not accept, nor allow to be placed on us, the guilt that belongs to the owners of these pets. We did not cause these pets to become a problem or inconvenience to their owners, we did not cause their owners to move, to have children, to become allergic, or to become ill.

San Antonio 's Animal Control is a mess. They euthanize over 800 animals a week with the hopes of going to nokill by 2012. It will never happen - they hate working with rescue groups and we all try and do what we can to save all we can. We have a group of about 10 fosters and we have taken out about 250 dogs from the sa pound this year. We do it because not very many other do and we can not stand the thought of all of the great dogs dying because no one cares.

Mutts in Need

We are a group of volunteers in Southern California, primarily in Los Angeles and Orange Counties, dedicated to saving the lives of abandoned animals. We care for strays, abandoned animals, victims of abuse, and have rescued many from euthanization in animal shelters across California. At the present time we do not have a facility of our own to keep them, so we rely solely on the good will of foster families who care for them until they can be placed in permanent homes. We also work closely with other rescue groups and we are always in need of volunteers to assist in showing the animals on weekends and especially to foster pets until they are adopted. Our founders started many years ago as volunteers with various non-profit organizations across the United States and have made pet rescue a major part of their lives. Most of us have our own families of dogs, cats, and other pets who once were also rescues. "Critters in Need Pet Rescue" is an established animal rescue and placement group. With your help and the help of our friends, we will be able to save many lives and bring much happiness to many people and animals alike. We are constantly in need of help in various fields of pet adoption. Volunteers are desperately needed to provide foster homes, help showing animals to the public in pet shows and events, home visitations, publicity, pet transportation and a number of other projects aimed at placing as many animals as we can in the very best of homes. If you would like to become a volunteer please send an E-Mail to CrittersRescue@gmail.com
