We believe that all animals deserve a 2nd chance at a warm loving home, or for some, even their 1st chance, what I like to call "the luckiest day of their lives!" Many of these animals would never have a chance of surviving if not for rescues. It is our goal to try to minimize feral colonies as well as the stray overpopulation by utilizing a method called TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return as well as what we call TNA (Trap, Neuter, Assess). This allows us to slowly work on getting ALL adoptable cats and kittens out of the feral colony and into loving homes. For more information on TNR, please visit Alley Cat Allies. This is a wonderful resource for helping cats in your neighborhood as well as feral colony management. We are not a traditional shelter, so we don't have a location or building for our rescues. All of our rescues are fostered in loving homes to help them adjust to a normal home life, not in cages. They are handled daily and given lots of love and companionship. Generally we like to put animals in foster homes with other pets and children to try to ensure they are comfortable in many environments/homes. We rescue many animals from the Marlton, Cherry Hill, Delran and many areas in South Jersey, primarily. As of November 2013, we are a New Jersey-based state certified non-profit, as well as a Federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are no-kill animal rescue that relies on our wonderful foster parents to keep our animals safe and comfortable.

For The Cats' Sake was founded in 2014 to fill an urgent need in our community for TNR. Rappahannock County has no animal shelter for cat and no programs in place to deal with the significant numbers of unwanted cats, unplanned litters and community cats being cared for by compassionate, but low income individuals who cannot afford vet care.

Angels Among Us Pet Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3), non-profit, volunteer-based organization dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats from high-kill shelters in North Georgia. It was created in February 2009 by a group of people in the Atlanta area who wanted to do more to save the many adoptable dogs and cats who found themselves on death row in Georgia animal control facilities. We are a 501c3 volunteer based group that is assisting those county shelters working towards saving the homeless animals in their shelters.

Arkanpaws Animal Rescue is a group of volunteers who are passionate about helping homeless animals through rescuing, fostering, vetting, and rehabilitating, and then finally finding them loving “fur-ever” homes. We’re located in central Arkansas, however, transport is available to most states. We arrange transport for dogs adopted into homes in New England every week. Most of our animals currently reside in foster homes in the central Arkansas area. ArkanPaws is committed to building a community of devoted pet families and helping facilitate greater networking and services for pet owners. We want to educate people about why it is so important to spay and neuter animals as a solution to ending the huge problem of pet overpopulation. Too many beautiful, healthy, adoptable pets are dying needlessly every day as a result of that overpopulation. We are developing a network of volunteer and foster families, and helping to spread the word about spay/neuter discount programs available, and other pet related information. Knowledge is power, and the power to evoke a positive change in the community is a beautiful thing indeed! Island Cat Resources & Adoption (ICRA) is an all volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit humane organization in the Alameda-Oakland area dedicated to reducing the suffering of the mistreated, abandoned, and feral (wild) cat populations and to educating and empowering the local community to aid in their plight. Since its establishment in 1994, ICRA has found homes for over 2,500 cats through our adoption program, spayed or neutered over 11,300, and assisted in getting many hundreds more off the streets and into "no kill" community shelters. ICRA is a small group with limited resources. We owe our accomplishments solely to the hard work and compassion of a dedicated corps of volunteers and supporters who share a passionate concern for the health and welfare of the overwhelmingly large population of abused and unwanted cats in our community.

Adopt-a-Kitty is an all species/breed caregiver to lost, homeless, and unwanted pets that are in need, locally and in nearby surrounding areas, concentrating mainly on cats and kittens. We accept “special needs” pets as well, when in need. In the last 5 years, we have placed hundreds of animals, a good portion pulled from high kill shelters. Our mission in life is to love, care for, and PLACE animals who haven't been given a chance. All pets are tested, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, etc. prior to adoption. We provide a safe place for our rescued pets to stay until a forever family can be found. We are a no kill shelter.
