HUA has rescued over 12,000 dogs from puppy mills, provided low cost spay/neuter services for over 14,000 patients, and offers temporary housing for animals of families fleeing domestic violence. We have placed thousands of cats and dogs in wonderful new homes across the country through our JetSet Dogs program. The Proud Pets Program provides free veterinary care for the beloved pets of previously homeless veterans. We are a dog rescue. Nancy Jimeno founded the rescue and was originally saving mostly pitbulls. Overtime we have grown and we save all kinds of breeds from all over! We get dogs as strays, owner surrenders, abandonment cases, hoarding cases, the euthanasia list at shelters across Southern California and so much more! It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

We are a Giant Breed dog rescue that wants to provide a safe place for large to giant size dogs during their transition from whatever situation they might be in (i.e. stray, owner surrender, shelter pick up). We want to educate the public on how to care for these gentle giants and help match the dogs to good lifelong homes.

Hearts for Rescue is a foster based rescue group who takes in animals without homes; we foster them, care for them, spay/neuter & find new homes through networking. We do this because there is a problem with unwanted animals in our areas that are without proper care and end up in a cycle of reproducing. We hope to make a positive impact on the number of unwanted animals by educating people about the proper care and about the importance of spaying and neutering.

DASH (Danielle's Animal Safe Haven) rescues dogs, cats, horses and other companion animals. We bring them back to health, make sure they have all of their shots, and are spayed or neutered. Then we find them a new FOREVER home. We are a non-profit organization dedicated solely to the health and well-being of animals. All our staff are volunteers.

Dogs and horses are our biggest focus, however. We are a foster based rescue, meaning we have no actual shelter location and we are solely volunteer operated. Our niche with dogs is mainly with large and giant breed dogs, including bully breeds, mastiffs, and danes, etc. We routinely pull dogs from ACCT Philly, as well as numerous other high kill shelters. NARPS frequently takes on extreme medical cases which very few other organizations would even consider. We rescue horses from slaughter auctions and countless other venues. NARPS prides itself in the difference it makes for so many lives. Big or small...hooves or paws...we rescue them all!!
