We are a no kill rescue group in southern california. Our primary focus is rescuing animals off of death row and local high kill shelters before they are to be euthanized. We then either board them or place them in foster homes so we can better access their personalities before placing them in loving homes. All our animals are seen by our vets, spayed/neutered, given approriate vaccines, some are microchipped, FELV/FIV tested if they are cats, heartworm tested for dogs and given flea treatment prior to adoption.

Jersey Shore Animal Center is committed to the rescue and care of unwanted, abused, abandoned, sick animals and to the adoption of these animals to responsible, loving homes. To that end, veterinary care is provided as needed, medication and inoculations are given and neutering/spaying is done prior to adoption unless the animal's health or age precludes this procedure. In addition, a compassionate staff tends to providing for each animal's physical and emotional needs, taking care to keep each one sheltered, clean, well-fed and socialized.

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Cavalry give them a chance to have a life?

We are a group of VOLUNTEER fosters that saw the need for helping larger, mixed breed dogs. We try to keep dogs from entering shelters . When possible we also save dogs from the urgent lists of "kill" shelters in the Mid South. We are a VERY SMALL group trying to save one dog at a time.

Zani's Furry Friends is an organization committed to rescuing companion animals from New York City's shelters where, unfortunately, they are at risk for euthanasia due to overcrowding. Each dog or cat (or bunny) rescued from a shelter opens a cage and gives an opportunity to another pet to await a chance for adoption or rescue, thereby potentially saving yet another life. Although we are not always sure of the pedigree or background of each animal, those we place are generally well socialized family pets who came to the shelter through no fault of their own. We rescue kittens, puppies and bunnies as well as adult animals who deserve another chance for a loving home. We do not have a shelter or boarding facility, but instead rely upon foster homes to shelter and nurture our furry friends until a loving forever home is found. Our dogs and cats are all up to date with vaccines, and spayed or neutered. Dogs are microchipped and heartworm negative and cats have tested negative for FIV (if old enough) and FeLV. We continually rescue new animals and will keep in mind specific requests from good homes. Zani's Furry Friends is a volunteer organization which receives no funding or sponsorship. We depend on the generosity of those who are willing to donate time, supplies and money--and we are always in need of additional foster homes for either dogs or cats so that we may help free more animals from a dark fate at the shelter. Unfortunately our city's shelters face a continual space problem, and dozens of healthy, adoptable animals lose the race of time daily. We are the Marshall County Humane Society located in Holly Springs, MS, a non-profit organization made up of a very active and dedicated group of volunteers. Our goals are to educate people on responsible pet ownership and to reduce the homeless pet population through adoptions and encouraging spay/neuter.

Pet Adoption Services, Inc. is a non-profit all breed cat and dog rescue organization in New Orleans. Supported by over 20 volunteer members, Pet Adoption Services was founded in 1996, although some of our members have been involved in rescue for as long as 20 years. Our mission is to secure loving permanent homes for homeless, abandoned or abused cats and dogs of all breeds.While awaiting adoption, our animals live in the homes of one of our foster parents. During this time the animals receive any necessary veterinary care, including but not limited to, vaccinations, spaying or neutering and perhaps heartworm treatment. Our experienced foster parents continually assess each pet's personality and temperament allowing us to place adoptable cats and dogs in just the right permanent home.
