Pet Adoption Services, Inc

P.O. Box 534
Louisiana
70063
petadoptionservicesinc@gmail.com
Pet Adoption Services, Inc. is a non-profit all breed cat and dog rescue organization in New Orleans. Supported by over 20 volunteer members, Pet Adoption Services was founded in 1996, although some of our members have been involved in rescue for as long as 20 years. Our mission is to secure loving permanent homes for homeless, abandoned or abused cats and dogs of all breeds. While awaiting adoption, our animals live in the homes of one of our foster parents. During this time the animals receive any necessary veterinary care, including but not limited to, vaccinations, spaying or neutering and perhaps heartworm treatment. Our experienced foster parents continually assess each pet's personality and temperament allowing us to place adoptable cats and dogs in just the right permanent home.

A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue

P.O. Box 211924
Royal Palm Beach
Florida

info@asecondchancerescue.org(561) 333-1100
A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue, founded in October 2007, is a 100% volunteer, foster-based 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue group based in Palm Beach County, Florida. From the Board of Directors to our Foster Caretakers to our Event Staff, each volunteer gives generously of their time and skills, motivated solely by a desire to help animals. A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue combines a no-nonsense goal of saving animals' lives with the blood, sweat, and tears of countless volunteers with financial support from various donors (individuals and corporations alike). Now in its sixth year, the group has rescued over 5,000 animals and continues to grow rapidly thanks in large part due to established relationships with various pet supply stores in Palm Beach County, including PetSmart and PETCO. All of the grant writing, fundraising, application reviewing, event planning, supply collection, bathing and bottle feeding is done by volunteers who seek only to save the lives of pets. When opening their hearts just isn’t enough for some, they open their doors - fostering dogs and cats in need until they are adopted. Their dedication has made the group one of the largest no-kill rescue groups without a shelter. Rescuing and arranging adoptions into loving homes for so many animals and successfully treating dozens of heartworm positive dogs are monumental tasks that have not gone unnoticed by the local media. The Palm Beach Post, The Wellington Town Crier and The Observer have all written articles promoting the group and its goal of finding homes for homeless pets. Accomplishing our goal of saving homeless pets’ lives by providing them with safe, healthy foster environments until they are adopted by loving forever families, requires funding to pay for the food and medical needs of the rescued animals. Donated funds go directly to covering food and supplies, veterinary expenses and medical supplies, and overhead costs (printing of forms, webpage hosting, etc.). A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue relies solely on donations. We do not receive any government funding or grants. We hope that after all you’ve learned about us, you will join us in our effort to save the homeless animals.

Fancy Cats Rescue Team

PO Box 182
Virginia
20172
info@fancycats.org(703) 961-1056
Fancy Cats Rescue Team was founded to provide the community a "safety net" for cats and kittens that are abused and abandoned, or added to the euthanasia list at the shelters that we are currently participating with. We are a 501 (c) (3) Nonprofit Organization and participate with the United Way/CFC #8929. The goal is to have no kill shelters in place. Education and responsible pet ownership are the foundation of our organization. Our program provides literature, counseling, referral services and educational resources to families and individuals needing guidance. Teaching people responsible pet guardianship by spay and neutering their pets, behavioral modification and health concerns. We also provide a mentoring environment for our youth volunteers where they can learn the rewards of community service while caring for animals that need their gentle, loving kindness. They also interact with the community providing self-confidence and the ability to interact with a variety of cultures and diverse backgrounds. Once an animal is received into our program, they remain with us until a safe, appropriate home is found. They are never euthanized based on their age or space limitations. They are given appropriate medical care, immunizations, spays or neuters and endless hours of tender, loving care. We are an all-volunteer organization with no paid staff. We are funded by community donations, 91% goes toward the care and well being of our animals. Our adoption fees help offset our veterinary bills.

Rescue Angels

PO Box 61562 Hillcrest Mall
Richmond Hill
Ontario
L4C 0C9
rescueangels@mail.com(647) 293-6570
Rescue Angels is a 100% not for profit, volunteer and foster home based cat rescue. We have a network of foster homes located within and across the GTA, Markham, Mississauga and Hamilton. Our volunteers open their homes to stray, abandoned and feral cats, as well as those who are at risk of euthanasia in local high-kill facilities until the right Forever Home is found. Rescue Angels actively participates with the Trap, Neuter and Return (TNR) program. We maintain and manage colonies to ensure that food, water and shelter is always available. We also provide additional and emergency vet care when required. Rescue Angels is a dedicated group that works with the public to rescue cats and promote individual responsibility for animal welfare. The 3 of us have been doing this individually on a personal basis, taking in strays, vetting them and then adopting them over the last 10 years, but have decided to come to together to be able to save more cats. Me love cats and feel all should be given a second chance for a loving "furever" home.
