Rescue Fenix, is a not for profit 501(c)3. We are an all volunteer all breed rescue mobilized by the feeling of compassion for animal welfare: those animals who are in danger, sick, abused and neglect. We ensure that each animal rescued, receives medical care and rehabilitation prior to rehoming them into a suitable furever home. We do not receive government funding and rely solely on the generosity of our donors.

We rescue dogs from high kill shelters, the streets of Los Angeles and Mexico and the Humane Society. We specialise in the shy fearful dogs who are deemed un-adoptable. We do a lot of senior medical and also train service dogs for those in need.

The success of our organization is rooted in our dedicated group of volunteers both local and abroad. We have partnered with like-minded individuals in countries including but not limited to the Middle East, Bahrain, India, Turkey, Mexico and Vietnam to help change the lives of some of the world’s most in-need animals. As we do not have a physical location, we depend on the support of the local community in the form of foster homes and potential adopters. According to the World Health Organization, there are more than 200 million stray dogs worldwide (as of 2017). The lives of these street dogs is particularly short and difficult in countries with limited resources dedicated to animal welfare. This is where we come in. Our partners abroad work tirelessly to take in stray dogs who are most in need of medical care. They (and you) are their best chance for survival. Generally, the process begins with the dogs being rescued off of the streets, restored to health and rehabilitated by these compassionate individuals. Loved at Last Dog Rescue is a society of dog loving volunteers who are committed to assisting in the rehoming of local dogs and rescuing dogs (often disabled) from high kill countries around the world. LALDR does not profit from any adoption fees. All donations to Loved at Last Dog Rescue are used to cover the cost of veterinary care, special equipment such as prosthetics and wheelchairs and to assist in the transportation of the dogs. The specific objectives and purpose of this organization shall be: a) To assist owners who are no longer able to care for their dog in re-homing the dog. b) To educate people about the importance of adopting, not buying, a dog. To educate people about street dogs and abused dogs and to provide a network of support to dog owners. c) To save dogs in need and at risk whenever possible, especially in situations where there is a potential for unnecessary euthanasia. d) To educate people about spaying and neutering, as well as the identification and registration, of domestic pets. We have a passion for preserving life and for protecting those who can't speak for themselves. To champion for those who are victimized by cruelty.

DASH (Danielle's Animal Safe Haven) rescues dogs, cats, horses and other companion animals. We bring them back to health, make sure they have all of their shots, and are spayed or neutered. Then we find them a new FOREVER home. We are a non-profit organization dedicated solely to the health and well-being of animals. All our staff are volunteers.

Mutts & Meows Animal Rescue is a private rescue headquartered near Sugar Land (in the southwestern suburbs of Houston). We work closely with other rescues as well as the Animal Control Departments of Pearland, Missouri City, and other municipalities in the Houston area, to help place dogs and cats in loving, permanent homes. Many of our dogs and cats live with foster families, so we know them well enough to make a good match between people and pets. Our adoption fees (which vary based on which agency we're working with) include spaying/neutering, vaccinations, FEV/FELV tests for cats, and heartworm tests for dogs.

A small group of volunteers..no paid employees. Our dogs are in area foster homes or they are housed at Rose's..in a heated pole building with a "bedroom" (toddler beds, a chair and a radio..so they can keep up on current events) with a dog door to a small fenced area to potty in through out the day and night. Then they get to play in a four acre fenced in area and swim in the pond every day too! We do not have a "shelter" per se and only under special circumstances are any of our animals "kenneled". They are very well socialized with people and other animals, which makes it much easier to know their temperaments. We do NOT take owner surrenders. But we will do courtesy posts for pets that are vetted and in need of homes. OUR MISSION STATEMENT Rose's Rescue is an all breed rescue for dogs and cats. We primarily concentrate on local pound rescues as we feel these are the animals in the most dire need of a second chance. We are committed to finding the best possible home for each, and every animal that comes into our rescue and we are available to help with any training or behavioral issues for the life of each animal. Rose's Rescue requires that any animal adopted through our organization be returned to us if for any reason the family is no longer able to care for them. Rose's Rescue is also committed to educating the public on the importance of spay and neuter, routine vaccinations, heartworm protection for dogs, and aids and leukemia testing for cats. According to the Humane Society of American over 4 million dogs, cats, kittens and puppies are killed each year. It is our goal to some day see no adoptable pets euthanized. Every two months, Rose’s Rescue chooses a few special candidates for a new class of dogs to be trained at the Trumbull Correctional Institution near Warren, Ohio. While enrolled in this program, each dog will be trained by selected inmates and overseen by professional dog trainer Bill Oliver (www.customcaninecompany.com) who generously volunteers his time with this laudable project. Upon completion of their training, cell dogs will have learned important socialization skills, have mastered basic obedience commands, and be fully housebroken. They will also be taught tricks to entertain their future families and friends, such as sitting pretty, playing dead, and give a high five. All dogs can be visited (by appointment and accompanied by a Rose’s Rescue representative) while at the prison. They can be adopted upon graduation, or occasionally sooner if a dog has done exceptionally well and is deemed ready to leave before the class is actually finished. The seed for The Barking Lot was planted a few years back when I took in my first foster dog, Patti Cake, in hopes of making a bigger impact by helping my favorite furry friends. Before I knew it, I was put on some rescue email list and received an email stating, "This dog to be put down on Tuesday at 3pm". I was utterly horrified and jumped into action figuring out how I could save her. Well, I did and I'm glad to report Raspberry (my nephew named her!) is living happily in Encinitas to this day! After getting her adopted, I thought, "That wasn't so tough." And so it goes...over 900 dogs adopted into loving home and 3 years later...we have The Barking Lot. As well as being wonderful companions, dogs are amazing teachers and we've learned so much from them...first and foremost that they all deserve a chance at a better life and their behavior will balance beautifully if their needs are meet and good leadership is applied. These pups will be the most grateful creatures you've encountered. We rescue our furry friends from area shelters, humane societies and Mexico as they are at risk of being euthanized and/or abandoned. We are a small organization with a handful of key volunteers and we are just getting started as a 501c3 non-profit, so we're looking for more volunteers to add to the fun and reward! We are a foster based dog rescue. We take owner surrenders or dogs from kill shelters and keep them with foster families until adoption

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Cavalry give them a chance to have a life?

Diane started doing fostering at the Sioux Falls Humane Society and then Pet Pals for Life. She had a passion for dachshunds. We noticed that the Sioux Falls area had a need for a dachshund rescue so her and I (Doug) started DDR. The response and need was much greater than we anticipated.
