Alamo Heights Animal Care Services is the municipal animal control agency of the City of Alamo Heights in Texas. AHACS's goal is to return pets to their original owners and find them safe and loving homes if not reclaimed after their stray search period has ended.

To meet or adopt one of the dogs or cats in the AHACS program, potential adopters are required to fill out our online adoption application and undergo an adoption interview before meeting the pet. Adopters are required to sign an adoption contract and pay an adoption fee of at least $50. All pets adopted from AHACS are required to be spayed/neutered and receive the appropriate vaccinations.
