The Mission of All American Dachshund Rescue is to Protect the Welfare of Dachshunds, to Promote the Humane Treatment and Well Being of these Animals by:

o Providing shelter and medical care for stray and abandoned Dachshunds;

o Responding with personal commitment, humane sensitivity, compassion, and technical skill to the needs of these Dachshunds;

o Actively promoting suitable adoptions of Dachshunds;

o Encouraging spaying and neutering to ensure the numbers of unwanted Dachshunds be kept to a minimum;

o Helping to prevent cruelty to animals by promoting animal welfare education

We do check all references including vet and a home visit is conducted for each animal adoption unless the adopter has previously adopted and there have been no changes or large lapse of time.
