Rely totally on DONATIONS, MEMBERSHIPS, GRANTS, FUNDRAISING activities and our THRIFT SHOP

We are not affiliated with any shelters

We receive no funding from any county or state governments

Northern Neck counties served: Lancaster, Northumberland, Westmoreland, and Richmond

Mission Statement:

Reduce pet over population through spay/neuter programs

Promote respect and compassion for all creatures through humane education

Relieve the suffering of animals

Prevent cruelty to animals

Provide veterinary care for stray or injured animals

Seek quality homes for unwanted dogs and cats

Adoption Process

submit application; application is reviewed; references checked; verify with applicant's vet that other animals are well cared for and UTD on vaccinations; home visit is scheduled (if felt needed); applicant visit with adoptable animals to see which suits them best; after adoption - follow-up to see how all are adjusting
