We were founded in 1910. In the past, we had a shelter with a paid shelter manager. Currently, we no longer have a shelter or physical location, and we are an all-volunteer organization. There are about ten board members, and we have a monthly board meeting. We focus on cat and dog adoptions and spay/neuter by offering two to three low-cost clinics per month and discounted pricing to clients with financial assistance. We are within a county full of low-income, rural residents. Cat overpopulation is our main focus through spay/neuter and adoption services. We also assist with TNR, and offer a lower spay/neuter rate for feral cats.
$50/adult cat, $75/kitten under 6 months of age. All adopted cats are spayed/neutered. Questionnaire, interview, contract. Includes FeLV test prior to adoption.
