Azaya Ranch Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescued animal sanctuary in the San Francisco Bay Area. What started out over twenty years ago as one woman's passion, has now grown into a full-fledged rescue and sanctuary that exists to save animals from euthanasia and find them loving, forever homes. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on all of their shots before they can be adopted. And to make the transition even easier, we offer on-site training for new adopters, helping to ensure that both animals and people will thrive in their new home.
A potential owner completes an application, so we can assess what type of home they can provide for our rescue animals. If he/she/they are a good fit, we arrange a time to meet with the animal(s) and further along, staff conducts a home visit. At the time of adoption, the owner will complete an Adoption Agreement and pay a $250 adoption fee.
