Barkie's Legacy was named in honor of my mother (nicknamed "Barkie") and we rescue typically larger dogs at great risk of euthanization. We get them up to 100% then find them a forever home. We do it b/c we're tired of seeing how many loving pets are being put down in the shelters daily. We support the No Kill movement!

Application (that's verified and approved), home visit, contract, require the dog to be on HW meds and examined within first month. Any problems, the dog must come back to our rescue.
