We are a group of boxer lovers that work together to improve the life of boxers. While the boxer is rated in the top ten of purebreed dogs by AKC, they are also 4th in purebreed dogs found in shelters.
Our mission is to give those boxers a second chance to the life every boxer deserves. Through our foster program the boxer will get any medical and training needs met and our adoption team will find the family that can give the boxer a forever home. We also provide post adoption follow up.
Boxer Lovers is committed to providing breed specific knowledge as well as information on being a responsible pet owner.
The adoption process starts with completing an adoption application. Once the application is received, our adoption team will review and do a vet check. Next is a phone interview and then we will set up a home visit. Depending on location and interview, visit can either be live or virtual. After completed we will review and notify applicant if approved/denied. If apprved, we will begin working with applicant to find a boxer to fit in their family dynamics.
All animals in the home must be spayed/neutered and current on vaccinations.
Fees are based on the age of the boxer and vary between $150 to $500
