I own, and personally run Bread of Life K9 Refuge alongside my husband and our children. We are a faith based, family run organization that we founded 5 years ago now. While we take in many dogs that make it to the adoption side, and are able to find wonderful families, there are also many that don't, so we become their happy ending 💖

Our mission is to serve God's purpose in our lives to continue the work behind the scenes of all we do here from the many hospice, abuse, neglect, and abandonment cases we take in. God's faithfulness, unwavering grace, and steady foundation in our lives has enabled us  to embark on this beautiful journey to do our life's work by giving animals second chances through God's promise of a better tomorrow.

We always do phone interviews aside from email correspondence. We request photos/videos of their home/family/yard space if we are unable to do a in person home check. If all looks good, we will set up a meet and greet.

If the meet and greet goes well, then adoption contracts are reviewed, agreed upon, and then filled out and signed finalizing the adoption. Adoption fee is then paid.

Adoption fees range from 500-1500 to depending on vet costs associated with each dog, time with us, and the training we have done with them.

We do everything our vet advises us to do on top of spay/neuter, vaccines, and chip. When recommended we also do dental cleanings/dental extractions if needed, ear cleaning/treatment of ear infections, hernia repairs, mass removals, etc. along with blood work/X-rays if ever needed pending age, or concern by either us, or our vet. Our adoption fees reflect all that we do in whole.
