The mission of Campbell County Animal Services is to provide services and information which safeguard public health and safety while promoting responsible pet ownership, to humanely house and care for animals in itsâ charge, to protect the animals of the community from abuse and neglect and to end the euthanasia of healthy adoptable animals.
Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $90 and cats/kittens are $70. All animals are spay/neutered before they leave. The adoption fee includes the first round of vaccines, worming, heartworm/FeLV/FIV test, a free veterinarian check up, rabies voucher, microchip and a county tag. We do in-person adoption counseling and meet and greets in lieu of formal applications.
