The Mission of Cats Alive! SLV is to reduce the number of feral and abandoned house cats in the San Luis Valley of Colorado through vigorous spay/neuter programs and, when possible, assist finding caring homes for kittens and tame cats.

Our adoption process starts with our form at Shelterluv, after which we make contact to complete the interview and arrange an appointment to meet the cat(s). Our fees vary by cat, from working cats that are free with home inspection, to kittens that are $50 each. Cats must be provided basic care, and returned if that is not possible for any reason. We return adoption fees for up to 30 days if a cat is returned for any reason. Our adoption contract spells this out in more detail.
