Our mission is to reduce feline suffering by providing housing for homeless, abused, neglected and abandoned cats rescued from municipal shelters, sterilizing stray and feral cats to reduce overpopulation, and providing necessary medical treatment. We are also a long-term facility that houses unwanted and unadoptable cats, and assists people who need help keeping their pets during difficult life situations.
11. We are a no-kill facility, meaning we only euthanize animals that are in untreatable pain or suffering from disease. Our goal is to place every adoptable cat or kitten in our care in a loving forever home.
12. Our Adoption Program seeks to rehabilitate and find homes for homeless cats. We offer services for former cat owners who need to surrender their cats for personal reasons, as well as for new cat owners who are interested in adopting a cat.
13. Our Spay/Neuter Program provides free or discounted spay/neuter services for cats owned by anyone in our service area. Our typical clients are of low-income and unable to afford these services on their own.
14. The Sanctuary Program offers free cat boarding to people who require temporary housing for their pets. Our typical clients include veterans at the local VA Hospital, individuals checking into substance abuse treatment centers, or individuals undergoing cancer treatments or in homeless shelters.
15. We have our Foster Care Network, which we use to provide temporary homes for cats in need.
16. We also fundraise and host community events, as well as offer educational classes to teach responsible pet ownership. We require new cat parents to complete a set of courses before they can take kitty home.
17. We also have a Fire Cat and Natural Disaster Rescue Program to help cats affected by these occurrences.
18. We accept all forms of donations to help us continue our mission.
