Our small rescue group has been in operation since 1999. We are a core group of volunteers who spend our available (most of us have full time jobs) rescuing animals and finding good permanent homes for them. We have 4 core foster homes and a handful of others who foster occasionally or in special situations. Most of our rescues are from outdoor situations, but when we have room, we rescue from some high-kill shelters. All of our volunteers do this because of our dream of one day becoming a real "no-kill" society.
Our adoption fee is $125 - covers spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, and FeLV/FIV testing. All of our foster animals are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. We have a contract that is completed at the time of adoption. Our adoption process includes talking to one or more family members, vet check if there are current pets, and in person meeting.
