CCHS is located in a very rural, poor area of Wisconsin. We help stray and homeless animals in need, caring for them until new homes can be found. We are also located in an area with many puppy mills, and are involved with rescuing and rehoming mill dogs. We also sponsor FixaPet, a low-cost spay/neuter program available to anyone from anywhere.

Adoption application is required. If approved, adoption contract also required. Spay/neuter part of contract if not already done. Medical records provided to new owner. Fees vary from $60 - $125 for dogs, $30 for cats.
