Dachshund Lovers of Texas is a 501(c) (3) non-profit, all-volunteer, foster based, no-kill rescue group for dachshunds. We are dedicated to the belief that helping pets helps people, and that any life is too precious to throw away when a bit of love can save it!

We require an adoption application be filled out; we check veterinary references to confirm current pets are altered, UTD on shots & HW preventative. We require an adoption contract at time of adoption and the fee for adult dogs is $200, $175 for seniors.
