We are an all-volunteer, foster home based, dachshund dog rescue organization based in Central Florida, although we do work in other states as fosters become available. We do not have a physical shelter. Instead, we operate primarily through our foster homes, online databases such as Facebook and other social media, and at adoption events/expos. We are committed to providing the dogs that come into Dachshund Seeking Forever Homes Rescue with the best possible care while they wait for their forever homes by providing love, socialization, and the appropriate veterinary care needed. We do it because we love dogs in general and Dachshunds in particular!

We do have online application, then with approved application that considers the adoptee's home, vet history, dogs personality needs, age, etc, personal references, Land lord approval and paid deposit if do not own, there is adoption fee ranging from 150.00 for over 12 or special needs to 475.00 for a puppy
