Demi's Animal Rescue was started by Demi Merritt when she was 14 years old. She is now about 19 years old and pushing Demi's Animal Rescue harder than ever. She has a strong passion for moving Colorado closer to no kill. She likes to focus on the more difficult animals and fully rehabilitate them both physically and emotionally before placement.

They first must complete an adoption application, then have a meet and greet and interview, a home visit is usually conducted and then they finish the process by registering the microchip and filling out an adoption contract.
