We are Tammi Smith and Amber Hughes Stephens. We have both been involved in rescuing animals for many years as part of other rescues and also on our own. We take in pets that are homeless for whatever reason, treat them medically, and find forever homes for them so they are never homeless again. We rescue because we feel they need us to help them.

An adoption application ust be filled out and submitted. We review and call vet references. If that is satisfactory, we set up a meeting and home visit. If all goes well, the pet can be adopted with a 2 week trial period. Adoption is final after adoption fee has been paid, and 2 week trial is successful.

Average adoption fee for cats is $75.00 and $225.00 for dogs.

Requirements include current pets must be spayed/neutered and have current vaccines.

Some pets require fences, some do not. It just depends on the pet.
