Downtown Dog Rescue is a 501C3 non profit. Since 1996 we rescue dogs in need and provide access to veterinary care for pets that live with families who identify as homeless or low income.

Please submit an application online on our website. Once reviewed and approved we will arrange a meeting.

If both parties feel its a good match, we set up a virtual or in-person home visit, complete the adoption contract and donation ($250), and arrange a time to deliver your new companion.

Please note: Our dogs are available for adoption within a 50 mile radius of the greater Los Angeles area. We do not adopt out of state.
