Our all-volunteer organization is funded by private donations only and is a 501(c)(3) status non-profit organization. East Mississippi Animal Rescue is not a shelter with visiting hours; animals are housed at the homes of volunteers. Rescue expenses are funded by donations and adoption fees.
The East Missisisippi Animal Rescue sponsors a number of dogs and cats that we feel are highly adoptable. These pets are vaccinated, dewormed, and spayed or neutered for a low fee.
Application for adoption is taken, references checked and home visit made. If all is approved we have a contract that is signed.
