We match the dog with the adopter after our fosters have had time to get to know each of them. At the shows we talk with applicants interested.. We want the best fit possible. Our adopters agree our process helps them find the right fit. We are proud to say after 7 years and almost 1300 dogs adopted, we have only >1% return rate. Our passion for sending them home to the right family makes our work so rewarding.

All serious inquires will be accompanied by an Adoption Application. It will be found on our web site, under Available Dogs tab. www.foster2homeinc.org.

Guidelines to adopt are listed at www.foster2homeinc.org and the application follows. We do not adopt outside of the Chicagoland area, a 25 mile radius is set up.

Please note: We do not adopt outside of a 25 mile radius of Chicago, to homes with Balconies, and also do not allow electric fences. Thank you for your attention to these important points. All applicants are expected to meet and adopt at Petsmart in Mt. Prospect, IL No Exceptions Please.
