Fur a Good Paws is a volunteer, donation-based 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit in Clay County, Illinois. Our EIN is 56-2397270.

Potential adopters have to fill out a two-page adoption application from downloadable from our website and sign it.

All pets are tested, vaccinated, spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. If the pet is too young, we will follow up with the adopter that it gets spayed/neutered at 6 months of age.

We will take back a pet that is returned.

Our adoption fees are:

$50 and upwards for dogs

$35 and upwards for cats/kittens
