The Greenville Animal Control Shelter is responsible for assuring that pets and people live together in safety and harmony, ensuring that all pets receive proper care, responding to complaints, and enforcing ordinances within the city limits. Our shelter handles rabies control, capture of sick or injured animals, confinement of lost pets, quarantines, dog bites, and adoptions.

One you pick out your new friend, one of our staff will call and set up an appointment for their spay/neuter and rabies vaccine at one of three local veterinarian practices that we work with. Your new family member will be able to go home with you the same day as adoption. Adoptions are cash or check only.
