Heart To Homes Humane Society Inc. is dedicated to finding homes for unwanted pets in high-kill shelters, preventing unwanted births through spay/neuter initiatives, and educating the public about animal welfare.
Process:
Step 1: Complete the Adoption Questionaire and email it to admin@berrienhumanesociety.org
Step 2: Our Adoption Coordinator will contact you over the phone for a brief interview and to schedule a home visit or obtain a vet reference.
Step 3: Once approved for adoption, you will fill out the Adoption Contract and pay the adoption fee in cash or via PayPal.
Step 4: Upon completion of steps 1-3, your adoption may be finalized and you can pick up your new family member!
Fees:
Adoption fees for cats are currently $85. This includes spay/neuter, current vaccines, deworming, flea prevention, and microchipping.
Adoption fees for dogs are currently $125. This includes spay/neuter , heartworm testing, current vaccines, deworming, flea prevention, and microchipping.
