Description

The Humane Society of Blue Ridge (Georgia) works diligently to increase the awareness of animal issues through public education, striving to end euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals, to promote and offer affordable spay and neutering to the community, and reduce the local feral cat population through our trap, neuter, and release program. The Humane Society of Blue Ridge is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote respect for all living things, to provide for the welfare of abandoned, injured, or mistreated dogs and cats in order to find them loving, permanent homes.

Adoption Process

When you adopt a pet from the HSBR, you also receive:

Spaying or neutering

Heartworm test

De-worming

A complete medical history showing all of the care, shots, de-worming, and tests that were administered to the animal during its shelter stay

Adopter Requirements

21 years of age or older

Valid ID with name and current address

Landlord and/or parental verification

Adoption Fees

Fees are per pet.

All cats and kittens are $100 and up.

All dogs and puppies are $200 and up.
