Kiski Valley Cat & Kitten Rescue was established in 2000. We are dedicated to the prevention of cruelty and neglect towards cats by providing shelter to homeless cats until we can find them permanent homes of their own. Necessary veterinary treatment, including spaying, neutering, Distemper, and Rabies vaccinations are obtained for them. Euthanasia is not considered unless a cat is gravely ill and it needs to be done to prevent or end the cat's suffering.Â
The shelter runs solely on the help of volunteers and donations.Â
We do this because we love cats and want to do as much as we can for them.
â
We ask a potential adopter to fill out an application, after screening, we will contact the adopter back. They then come to the shelter. We do have adoption fees based on age of the cat.
