Lafourche Parish Animal Shelter is government run shelter located in Thibodaux, LA. It serves the entire parish (pop. 90,000) Average annual intake is 3000 dogs and cats. We welcome and encourage rescue group partipication in order to save more pets, volunteers, fosters, and adopters. The Lafourche Parish Shelter makes appointments for residents' pets for the low-cost spay/neuter program which includes a $50 voucher. Our goal is to make Lafourche Parish a low-kill shelter in the future by reducing pet overpopulation parish-wide.

Application, contract, spay/neuter contract (if too young at time of adoption). Dog - male adoption fee $30, female dog is $35

Cats - male adoption fee is $15; females $25.
