I founded Lancaster Four Dog Rescue due to a plea to save 4 emaciated pit bull puppies. This led to an animal abuse case that is still ongoing. I have always wanted to help animals. When I was growing up I would save neighbor dogs that were left outside with no food or water. I began by fostering for rescues then volunteering. The 4 puppies sparked my desire to start my own rescue.

Adoption application is the first step . We complete home checks, reference and vet checks. Speak with adopter to get an idea of their experience is. Adoption contract is required when approved to adopt adoption fees are $400 for puppies under 1 year, $250 for adults 1 year to 8 years and $200 for seniors over 9 years.
